Job Description

Do you have hospitality and catering experience, knowledge about current eating trends, and have a passion for quality service? If you said yes, we want to speak to you! We are adding an energetic, knowledgeable catering supervisor to our team! Essential Functions:

• Responsible for reading and understanding all event work orders to make an appropriate plan in order to execute the event and its timeline.
• Involved in event operations including guest relations, logistics, quality improvement and food safety
• Tracks and monitors labor and food cost for each catering event
• Maintains excellent verbal and written communication with all catering clients
• Alerts a manager to any potential problems: consistently monitoring standards and makes recommendations for improvements
• Ensures all post-event breakdowns and sidework are done correctly
• Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned by leadership

• Minimum of 2 years food service experience; catering preferred
• Some knowledge of food and catering trends
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve, analyze, and make effective decisions
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office products
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• Able to pass a criminal background check
