Job Description:
A MS or PhD in bioinformatics, microbiology, microbial genetics, molecular biology, computer science, or related field.
Technical experience with data storage, file transfer and file sharing process for bioinformatics, Advanced Molecular Detection (AMD) and/or genetic sequencing data.
Experience providing training and/or technical assistance for data storage, interoperability, file systems and file transfer for bioinformatics, AMD and genetic sequencing data.
Experience using Cloud infrastructure and tools for bioinformatics, AMD and genetic sequencing data processes.
Experience with public health data integration and interoperability between LIMS and databases.
Experience with public health data reporting from state public health programs to federal partners (APHL, CDC, HRSA).
