Job Description

Job Title: Sales Professional - LTL Business

As a member of a sales team, the sales professional is responsible for new business development, account implementation, and maintaining and deepening customer relationships within a defined geographic territory specific to LTL business.

Essential Functions:

1. Develop new business by identifying potential customers, growing revenue, conducting background research, analyzing customer needs, and developing LTL solutions.


2. Maintain existing business by understanding the customers business and supply chain through research and collaboration.


3. Coordinate with internal teams to provide a seamless customer experience.


4. Manage and meet quarterly sales goals.


5. Leverage technology tools such as internal systems, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office suite.


6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or two years of B2B sales experience.


• Two years of LTL or FedEx B2B sales experience.


• Ability to travel overnight.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in transportation or LTL sales preferred.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.


• Strong organizational, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in transportation or LTL sales is preferred.

Compensation:

Range: $51,975 - $98,250 per year. Actual pay depends on experience and other factors.

Work Schedule and Location:

Hybrid work schedule, face-to-face sales role, preferably located in San Diego, CA, with consideration for other locations within a 50-mile radius.
