Job Title: Sterile Pharmacy Technician
Job Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire
Location: Altamonte Springs, FL 32714
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $19–$22/hour (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a hospital/oncology specialty environment. The ideal candidate must have at least 2+ years of sterile compounding experience in a clinical or hospital setting (externships do not qualify). You’ll work under the supervision of two PharmDs and play a vital role in preparing sterile IV medications, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy standards.

Requirements
Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Florida (required)

Minimum 2 years of sterile compounding experience in a professional work environment (outside of school/externship)

Hospital or Oncology specialty pharmacy experience (required)

Experience working with EMR systems – EPIC preferred

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow standard operating procedures

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a pharmacy team

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the setup of the sterile compounding room, equipment, and supplies

Mix and package IV antibiotic medications under proper sterile conditions

Perform cleaning and maintenance of compounding equipment and workspaces

Participate in inventory management and rotating stock for quality control

Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to regulatory policies and procedures

Support the pharmacy team and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
