Job Description

Responsible for supervising a highly motivated and engaged inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant team and coordinating and leading the training and quality improvement efforts related to all aspects of medication use. Responsible for the development of performance standards, maintaining and developing policies and procedures, and serving as the clinical and technical expert in designated practice areas. Coordinates and supervises team projects and daily care activities to ensure the proper usage and distribution of medications to pediatric patients. Provides information to parents, patients, and staff concerning dosage, interactions, incompatibilities, adverse effects, administration, and appropriate use of medications. Required Education and Experience Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy. Five (5) years experience working as a pharmacist. Required Credentials Licensed by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacist. Preferred Prior supervisory or leadership experience. Pediatric hospital pharmacy experience and/or Pediatric Residency Training. Licensed pharmacy preceptor. Compensation Range $153,434.00 - $230,152.00 per year Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
